Bakhita House is a refuge for women escaping human trafficking across London and Hertfordshire, working in partnership with the Metropolitan Police. 66% of the women arriving have experienced sexual exploitation and 27% having experienced domestic servitude. The grants support with practical items such as glasses or hearing aids, buggies and high chairs as well as other resources such as travel costs.
